Summer Yoga

Mother/Daughter Yoga in the ParkA fun and challenging 60-minute practice for girls and their moms (or aunts, grandmas, neighbors, etc). Learn the basics of yoga asanas (physical poses) and philosophy, as well as exercises in body awareness and appreciation. Individual and partner poses. (No official charge–pay what you can.)

Sunday, June 25 6pm at Lyndale Farmstead Park, 3900 Bryant Ave S, Mpls (meet near the park building)

Saturday, July 9 9:30 am at Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, Lyndale Avenue and Vineland Place (meet at the Spoonbridge and Cherry)

Sunday, August 21 6pm at Lake Calhoun (meet on the south end of the lake near the volleyball courts)

Private/One-on-One Yoga

Does your schedule not allow you to get to yoga classes? Or perhaps you’d prefer to begin a yoga practice in the privacy of your own home. Individual and small group yoga offered in your home. Practice is tailored to your unique needs and level of experience. $50/hour

Hot Power FusionThis class moves between Hot Yoga’s static and systematic holds and CorePower’s Vinyasa Flow. Students will receive the benefits of a Hot Yoga class with further hip opening, upper body and core strengthening benefits. The class, taught in a room heated to 98-100 degrees, will appeal to the traditional Hot Yoga student who is looking to deepen their yoga practice. Hot Yoga Express — Open to all levels from beginners to advanced students, CorePower Hot Yoga Express is a demanding series of postures performed in a room heated to 100-103 degrees. Similar to the 90 minute practice, the 60 minute program systematically works the entire body, concentrating on the essence of every organ, bone, joint, muscle, ligament, tendon, blood vessel, nerve and gland. Postures are executed in a precise order, but performed only once in the 60 minute practice.
